WHY WE STARTED TAZZY

Tazzy was born from friendship, frustration -and a shared obsession with the game. Faye, a proud graduate of the University of Alabama, carries with her the deep athletic spirit of the South. She's a lifelong athlete and a firm believer that movement isn't just physical -it's emotional. Woody graduated from UC Berkeley. Acoder by trade, but a competitor at heart. He's the type who can build software by day and crush rallies by night -always chasing better. Bin, our head of product design, studied at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. Every curve, every surface of our paddle reflects his belief that form and function must coexist. For him, design isn't decoration-it's precision. We started Tazzy because we couldn't find paddles that truly matched our standards-in performance, in quality, and in vibe. So we made our own.

BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP

Before launching our first paddle, we spent months on the ground in China, visiting over 20 factories. In the end, we partnered with one of only two manufacturers in the entire countrycapable of producing truly seamless thermoformed paddles -the same technology trusted by professionals. Every material that goes into a Tazzy paddle -from the carbon fiber surface to the core -is hand-selected by our team. We oversee the entire supply chain, from sourcing to final QC, ensuring each paddle meets the standard we play with ourselves. Nothing leaves the factory without our sign-off.
